What is IVA anyway?

IDRAK Virtual Academy (IVA) is a social learning platform that serves to inspire the next generation of STEM leaders in the MENA region.

We like to describe it as a community-driven knowledge hub which allows like-minded, ambitious students to connect and contribute towards a sustainable future.

Our Philosophy

Our whole philosophy is based on these two pillars:

Connection: we believe that a strong community drives progressiveness and future security. This is why we've used the social learning theory as a blueprint to map out our learning approach. Social learning theory (Albert Bandura) proposes that learning is a cognitive process that takes place in a social context and can occur purely through observation or direct instruction. In other words, powerful learning happens as we observe new ideas - especially from the people we admire.

By connecting with others, you automatically expand your learning horizons and career opportunities. Our community membership is free, forever.

Contribution: we want to encourage a constant free-flow of inspiration amongst our members. We believe that students play an equally important role as the educator within any learning environment, because they hold the power to positively influence their peers. We've developed lots of cool features and tools that allow our members to contribute to the community - from participating in unique forums to leading social groups & planning events. Our Mission

Our mission is to seal the knowledge gap in STEM industries across the MENA region by empowering our youth to ignite their passions.

We have developed various learning models to suit any type of student. For those who enjoy the classroom atmosphere, we have synchronous (live) study solutions for both groups and private occasions. For those who prefer to study at their own pace, we also have an asynchronous study solution: our course library. And finally, for those who are seeking quick homework help or assistance before a big exam, we have a super responsive chat feature that connects users with subject matter experts.
